Now hiring!! Part Time Scale Operator & Clerical Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Scale Operator & Clerical Support to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations at our construction materials facility. The primary responsibility is weighing and ticket trucks, accurate record-keeping and customer service. Additionally, this role will provide general clerical support to help keep our operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Truck Weighing & Ticketing: Operate the truck scale system to weigh inbound and outbound vehicles, ensuring accuracy in load weights and ticketing.
  2. Data Entry & Record-Keeping: Input weight data and transaction details into the computer system for billing and tracking. Maintain organized and accurate records.
  3. Verification of Load Slips: Review and confirm load slips to ensure that materials are correctly documented and assigned to the appropriate customer accounts.
  4. Customer Service: Communicate professionally with truck drivers, contractors, and customers, providing clear instructions and answering any inquiries.
  5. Clerical Duties: Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, answering phone calls, organizing paperwork, filing documents, and other clerical duties as needed or as they arise.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
  2. Basic computer proficiency (data entry, email, ticketing systems).
  3. Comfortable working in a construction-related environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Oversee daily operations of crusher plant facility. Responsibilities include maintenance and inspection of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations,  assisting with plant shutdowns and start-ups and monitoring plant operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the crusher plant efficiently and safely
  • Monitor and inspect equipment to ensure it is functioning properly
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
  • Coordinate with other plant operators and maintenance personnel
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of production and equipment maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during operation
  • Communicate effectively with management and other team members

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a crusher plant operator is preferred.
  • Ability to operate and maintain crushing equipment such as crushers, conveyors, and screens.
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to crushing equipment operation.
  • Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Physical ability to work in outdoor environments with exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education is preferred, but not mandatory. Training and certification in crushing equipment operation is a plus.

Hiring: Assistant Project Manager

Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with project direction, planning, completion, and financial outcome. In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must be organized and have excellent time management skills, as well as being effective both in an office role and in a field role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchases and on-site project inventory
  • Prepare project schedules
  • Assist with estimation and bidding process
  • Effectively communicate project progress
  • Coordination between needs in the field and the office
  • Attend Job Meetings and communicate outcomes
  • Understanding contract documents, plans and specifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably with a major in business, business administration, and/or construction management
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency including schedules
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in the office and in the field with project superintendents

On The Job Training Opportunity – Ossipee NH

We are looking to hire an OJT “On the Job Training” person for the NHDOT Ossipee project. This is a great opportunity for someone to receive training and start a career in the construction industry.

Trainees:

NHDOT OJT Program is a great opportunity to gain employment and develop a career in the transportation industry. Trainees can enjoy the practical approach to acquiring new competencies and skills needed a job in a real working environment. The training hours vary from 500-600 hours and are based on specific job classifications. The OJT SS Program offers assistance with removing barriers to employment such as reimbursement for boots, tools, training and similar. 

I have attached some more pertinent details of the job description/training programs available.

To qualify, the person must be at least 18 years old, and a woman, minority or disadvantaged individual as defined in the attached, with no previous experience in the construction industry.
